Welcome to Fairy Touch manga! ^^ A shoujo online manga about magical girls from my point of view... I guess giving a brief explanation about the whole thing will be good. Fairy Touch is a magical-girl(mahou shoujo) manga. For the ones who are new to this word, shoujo means "girl" in Japanese. Shoujo style manga are done for girls, have sparkly nice girly things in it, rather cute and romantic warm stuff creates the concept and they're purely elegant. And this manga will have a high dose of it.  But it's not just that, i plan on making 2 seasons, and while first season will be PG-14, i guess second will be PG-16 or so ^_^ I'll decide on that when time comes =)

Fairy Touch, name comes from the story concept itself. Also it'll have another meaning within the further episodes. This manga was drawn 3 times by now, 4th remake is on the way =P Three times of reorganising pages, storyline and redone. The one now you're reading is, the final (and hopefully the last) revised edition of Fairy Touch. Created at 2001 and now finally you can read at 2005-2006 :P Quite a long journey ^^;

Story is about five teenage girls, who are gifted with the elemental powers surrounding world. They are the only ones against genies, who used to create and protect the elemental balance on earth once. Yet their mission is quite simple, they have more to discover within themselves and within the cause of this war. It's not simple for genies also, their fear of fairies are deeper than they thought. And one may find out the hidden truth that lied in front of their eyes for all those years...

Fairies have dissappeared fairly long ago. And left this myth behind, a simple treat rumor that spreaded among the Genies..

"When everybody's faith fades away ,

When skies burn out in pain,

Angels of earth shall come by,

To save your creations which you destroyed,

Fairies would have you annihilated."

About Genies

Here s a brief explanation on genies for you guys.

As you're quite aware, Genies are simply more than you know about them in this story. As the "Master" already told, they don't make wishes true, nor they live in lamps. Genies of FT are much more than that, they're so ancient than you can think of and called with many names since they exist. First, seen as gods, then they had several names; genie, djinn, cin, elf, akuma, demon... etc. so many different names in so many nations. And most of the legends about them are true, of course legends don't talk about them directly, but in a more epic imaginary way.

Want proof? I don't want to spoil the storyline and mystery about Genies, but i can tell you that the myth behind each name is quite true. Well, Arachne did try to compete with Minerva, Athena. Amaterasu did really hid in a cave. But of course, these are only a side of those stories. Which'll be told to you later on. I'll add more information at each chapter you meet with new genies and reveal more about their history.  Hope this short information will be quite interesting for you, i'll add more by time.
